Networking to begin at 11:30 followed by a guest speaker, Colleen Hannegan from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.         

Colleen joined ATI as Director-Risk Management in fall 2006.  In January 2009 she was promoted to Assistant Treasurer-Risk Management, in August 2010 promoted to Senior Director.  Between  October 2015 to December 2017 she also was responsible for Strategic Sourcing, including MRO and TMS logistics integration and energy procurement oversight.  Colleen is responsible for risk management, contractual risk transfer, global insurance procurement and related matters.  She is a participant of the following separate ATI Leadership Councils:  EHS; Energy; and Sustainability.

Colleen’s career began in 1985 with Rockwell International, in Pittsburgh, in their Pension Asset Management, Benefits Administration and Risk Management departments.  Following Rockwell’s restructuring and relocation of their operations in 1992, she went to work for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, as a Senior Underwriting Support Technician.  In 1994, she accepted the position of Manager of Insurance Services, Risk Management with Interstate Hotels, a hotel management company.  In 2002, Colleen joined Marsh USA as a Property Client Advisor responsible for large property and international placements.  In less than a year, she moved to the casualty area and was quickly promoted to Assistant Vice President and later Vice President.  At Marsh, Colleen was responsible for casualty placements totaling over $1 million in revenue for steel manufacturing, rocket launch, hospitality, construction equipment, financial institution, aviation, and other retail service companies.

Colleen’s experience includes hazard identification/risk assessment, risk mitigation, project management, contract negotiation, loss prevention/control, financial and business risk, information management, claims review/analysis and settlement, broker/underwriter/carrier relationships, proposal and result presentations, facilitating best practice exchange and conflict resolution.


Colleen and her husband, Kevin, reside in McMurray, Pennsylvania, and have twin girls, Erin and Shannon.
